This weekend Sporting Images provided coverage of the Gold Coast Half Ironman and the Tanita Sprintman Triathlon .
A record field turned up at the new home of the Gold Coast Half Ironman yesterday to compete in one of the toughest events on the SIA calendar. Calypso Bay proved to be the perfect venue which enabled spectators to support their competitors regularly along the open-pan course and beautiful marina.
The new Tanita Sprintman also attracted a big field in the lead up the Noosa Triathlon, where 400 competitors tackled the 1km swim, 33km cycle and 7km run distance.
Matt and Lucas covered the Swim finish and Finish line photos and Duane photographed out on the cycle course and then helped out at the finish line. Over 10700 images were taken and these are being identified, sorted and made available on the website.
